Nice to see you uploading again, kind of sucks that i was never able to set up mini steam booths at the fairs and train shows but mother had become sick and i had to help with my siblings its been somewhere around five yeas since i visited your shop and l told you I wanted to do that, now I'm currently working on starting a sawmill with a frick size0 mill cast iron husk variant that is between 100-140 years old my plan is to use it to save up for machine tools so I can start a horse drawn equipment shop I really want to remanufacture stuff for the Amish community's around me and the gypsy vanner and draft Horse clubs I'm currently a member of I've also started attending the mill creek central miniature railroad advents and the doey Valley steam days advents because my interest in steam has never went away, I just wanted to tell you I've never forgotten about our conversation we had half a decade ago, I also heard from your friends I met at the state fair grounds for a model railroad swap meet that you were wanting to sell ministeam to a new owner just to think if things had went a little differently in my life that probably would have been me but just like I tell my Amish friend Steven when he asked how the carrage shop was comming along I told him I have the will just not the way ,so I just wanted to know how you were doing and hope that your life wasn't *** like mine was for the last half a decade and kind of still is atleast my family has managed to keep the farm unlike so many of my friends who had to sell because of the economy and actions of the politicians

I got around 5 or so of these inherited from my late Grandfather. Looks like he used these a good amount. Don't really know anything about them, but I'm trying to learn.

I've got a 1959 D-32 that runs quietly and beautifully, and I've seen a new one that runs just as well. Great guys at Wilesco! Keep up the family tradition.

Wilesco's a great company. Hat's off to them for recreating a classic from 70 years ago! Not too many places can or would do that. Bless these people and long live Wilesco! They make a wonderful and magical product.

Better for a 1000 less a used one from the 80s. Wilesco never got close to Märklin and Co from before the war. But the new one is carelessly nailed together, there are better ones from China and even toys from the GDR were better. After 50-60 years, the heating could have been made controllable ex works, so the part constantly runs into the safety valve. Primitv has nothing to do with nostalgia. Also the material, especially the fittings that you touch feel like they came from a gumball machine, with the old ones it's still a bit of German workmanship. If the part cost €500, I wouldn't say anything and fix the defects myself, including turning off the wobbling flywheels, but like this: No thanks Wilesco!
